My story.
I know what it's like to look successful on the outside, yet feel something is missing on the inside.
For much of my life, I believed that success was something I had to continually earn.
Through hard work. Achievement. Being capable. Being the person everyone could depend on.
I built a successful career, worked with extraordinary people and experienced opportunities I'm incredibly grateful for.
But somewhere along the way, what I did became so closely connected to who I was that I struggled to separate my achievements from my sense of self-worth.
I didn't fully recognise it at the time.
I just knew there was a part of me that felt constantly driven to do more, be better and prove that I was enough.
And eventually, I began to question what success really meant to me.
A career built on people, trust and connection
My career in publicity and talent management spanned several decades, working in an industry that was exciting, demanding and incredibly rewarding.
I had the privilege of representing actors and navigating the complex, fast-paced world of entertainment.
But when I look back, it isn't the glamour or professional achievements that stand out most.
It's the conversations.
The honest, personal moments when the people I represented trusted me with their challenges, fears, aspirations and the parts of their lives that existed beyond the public eye.
I became someone they could talk to, confide in and turn to for support.
Those experiences helped me recognise something about myself.
I had a genuine passion for understanding people.
Not just what they did or what they achieved, but what was happening beneath the surface.
What motivated them. What held them back. What mattered most to them.
I didn't know it then, but those years were laying the foundations for the work I do today.
Who am I when I'm not achieving something?
While I was supporting others through their challenges, I was navigating my own.
For years, so much of my self-worth was tied to my career and professional identity.
How I felt about myself often depended on what I'd achieved, how productive I'd been and whether I'd met the expectations I'd placed upon myself.
From the outside, I appeared successful and capable.
But internally, I carried anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism and an exhausting need to keep proving my worth.
I was so accustomed to measuring myself through achievement that I hadn't really stopped to ask:
Who am I without my career, my responsibilities or the expectations of others?
And what would my life look like if I stopped trying to prove I was enough and started believing it?
Those questions became the beginning of something much bigger.
The courage to begin again in my fifties
Making the decision to change careers later in life was one of the most significant turning points in my journey.
It wasn't simply about leaving one profession and pursuing another.
It meant questioning an identity I'd spent decades building.
There was fear.
Fear of starting again. Fear of leaving behind something familiar. Fear of stepping into a completely different chapter at a stage of life when I thought I should already have everything figured out.
But as I began my own journey of personal growth, studying and training to become a coach, I started to understand the beliefs and patterns that had shaped so much of my life.
I began recognising how deeply I'd connected my worth to my work.
And gradually, I started learning to see myself differently.
Not through my job title.
Not through what I'd achieved.
Not through how much I could do for everyone else.
But through who I was underneath all of it.
One of the most liberating realisations was that my worth had never been dependent on my achievements in the first place.
I didn't need to become someone else to deserve a fulfilling life.
I needed to reconnect with myself.
From external success to internal freedom.
Today, I can see how beautifully life has come full circle. The years I spent building trust, listening to people and understanding the complexities of human behaviour have become an invaluable part of how I work.
From external success to internal freedom
Combined with my own experience of navigating change, questioning deeply held beliefs and redefining my identity, they've shaped the coach I am today.
My work is focused on supporting high-achieving individuals who may recognise parts of their own story in mine.
People who have worked hard, built successful lives and spent years being everything to everyone.
People who appear confident and capable, yet privately struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, anxiety or the feeling that something still isn't quite right.
People who are beginning to ask themselves whether the life they've created still reflects the person they want to be.
I want those I work with to know that their next chapter doesn't have to be defined by what they've already achieved.
It can be defined by how they want to feel, who they want to become and what truly matters to them.
Support shaped around your story
Through my one-to-one coaching and The Wellness Lane Method™, I create a supportive space for individuals to explore the beliefs, emotional patterns and expectations that may be keeping them stuck.
My approach brings together my coaching training, personal experience and an intuitive understanding of people.
Our work is personal because no two people have the same story, experiences or aspirations.
Together, we may explore the beliefs that have shaped your identity, the expectations you've carried and the patterns that continue to influence your choices.
The intention isn't to push you to achieve more.
It's to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen your sense of worth, reconnect with your values and begin making decisions from a place of greater clarity and self-trust.
Because creating a fulfilling life isn't always about doing more. Sometimes it's about discovering what you no longer need to carry.
Training & credentials.
Selected professional training and certifications that inform Lisa's thoughtful, whole-person approach to coaching.
Because I was once the person I now coach.
I know how it feels to have a successful life on paper while quietly questioning whether you're truly happy within it.
I know how frightening it can feel to consider change when you've spent decades building a particular identity.
And I know how meaningful it can be to discover that you're allowed to want something different.
My mission is to help high achievers move from external success to internal freedom.
To support them in reconnecting with their authentic selves, recognising their inherent worth and creating a life that feels as fulfilling on the inside as it appears on the outside.
I believe we all deserve to experience a sense of worth that isn't dependent on titles, income, productivity or external approval.
And I believe it's never too late to begin creating a life that feels more like your own.
Your next chapter can begin here.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You don't need to know exactly what needs to change.
And you certainly don't need another achievement to prove that you're worthy of feeling fulfilled.
If something in my story resonates with you, I'd love to hear yours.
Let's explore where you are now, what matters most to you and what your next chapter could look like.
