Who we are

The Wellness Lane is operated by Fast Lane Publicity, a trading name of Lisa Lane, ABN 32 796 795 673. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that business.

If you have a question about this policy or how your information is handled, you can contact us using the details at the end of this page.

What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • the details you provide through our booking form or when you enquire, such as your name, email address, phone number, appointment preferences and the information you write in the form;
  • information you choose to share in an intake form, conversation or coaching session;
  • records needed to arrange and deliver coaching, communicate with you and manage payments; and
  • technical information generated when you use the website, such as your browser, device, IP address and pages visited, where relevant tools are enabled.

Please do not include detailed health information in an initial booking message unless it is needed for your enquiry.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries; arrange clarity calls and coaching; provide the services you request; keep appropriate records; manage billing and administration; improve our website and services; and meet applicable legal obligations. We aim to collect only what is reasonably needed for these purposes.

At the point where a booking or intake form collects information, we will explain its purpose and any important consequences of not providing it.

Sensitive and wellbeing information

Coaching conversations may involve personal experiences, emotional wellbeing or other sensitive matters. If we collect health or other sensitive information, we will seek consent where required by law and use it for the purpose explained to you, unless another use is permitted or required by law.

We will not use health information for direct marketing unless you have specifically agreed to that use.

Sharing and overseas handling

We use GoHighLevel to manage bookings and email communications. We may also share information with providers that support video calls, payment processing, website hosting and secure record storage, but only as needed to provide those services or where law allows.

GoHighLevel is based in the United States, and our service providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. You can contact us for more information about how your details are handled. We take reasonable steps required by applicable privacy law before disclosing information overseas.

Website analytics and tracking

Our website and booking provider may use cookies and collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and pages visited to operate and protect their services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although some website or booking features may then work differently.

We will update this policy if we add separate analytics or advertising pixels to these pages, particularly where visitors may reveal health or wellbeing information.

Email and marketing messages

We use GoHighLevel to send emails about enquiries, bookings and coaching. We may also send updates or promotional emails if you have agreed to receive them or where otherwise permitted by law. Marketing messages will identify The Wellness Lane and include a straightforward way to unsubscribe. You can ask us to stop marketing to you at any time by using that option or contacting us.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need the information to perform their work.

We keep enquiries, client records and billing information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, administer the business, respond to a dispute or meet legal and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and explain if an exception prevents us from meeting a request.

Complaints, changes and contact

If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. If you remain dissatisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version will appear on this page with its date.
